About the event

About the Speaker: Dr. Holly Petrillo is currently a Professor of Forestry at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, where she has taught since 2006.  Holly primarily teaches courses in forest health (forest insects and diseases), tree identification, and she also leads a field course to Kenya each summer.  Holly and her family run a small organic farm in Almond where they raise animals, vegetables, and (too) many other things.  Holly’s current interests are related to pollinators, developing bee species lists for Central Wisconsin and understanding how land use impacts pollinator populations.
